The fifth album by DARK STAR, and the first one to be professionally promoted and distributed.

It was released on CD in 1994 in Germany on Dark Star (!), a perfectly named sublabel of Strange Ways Records, and distributed by Indigo, both located in Hamburg.

Guest musicians on this recording were, amongst others, The Legendary Pink Dots on four tracks (with lyrics and vocals by Edward Ka-Spel on three of those) and Technogod from Italy on two tracks.

The album has been deleted from the Strange Ways catalogue long ago. In 2000 Soleilmoon Recordings re-released it in the United States, minus the last two original tracks, and with an additional 30 minutes of new DARK STAR music. Check out the Travelogue II page for details.

You can still buy the first seven tracks online on Bandcamp as wav or flac files in lossless quality.

"Come To" is a collaboration with Technogod. In 1997 they released their own extended and remixed version of it on their album 2000 Below Zero:

"Don't Look 'til It's Gone" is a collaboration with The Legendary Pink Dots, with lyrics and vocals by Edward Ka-Spel. In 2012 Edward released a wonderful new version of it as a bonus track on the re-release edition of his 1991 solo album Tanith And The Lion Tree:

Around 2010 'Virgil Pink' uploaded two wonderful videos with tracks from Travelogue II on YouTube. The first one is for "Eject!":

The second one is for "Don't Look 'til It's Gone"; the film used for it is an amazing short called "Nuit Blanche" by Arev Manoukian - slightly modified and edited to fit with the song:
